BMW ALPINA D3 Bi-Turbo Coupe

ALPINA, an automobile company from Germany which manufactures and sells cars based on BMW cars, has released the BMW ALPINA D3 Bi-Turbo Coupe.

The BMW ALPINA D3 Bi-Turbo Coupe is powered by a tuned 2.0-liter diesel engine from BMW’s 123d model producing 214 hp (157 kW), an increase of 10 hp (7 kW) from the stock 204 hp (150 kW) and then installed into the BMW E92 3 Series Coupe.

The overall power-to-weight ratio of the D3 is at 146 hp per tonne and it could accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 6.9 seconds. The fuel consumption of the ALPINA D3 Bi-Turbo Coupe is at 52.3 mpg (overall EU) while the CO2 emission is at 143 g/km (for the manual transmission version).

This year, there will be only 100 units of the BMW ALPINA D3 Bi-Turbo Coupe available in the UK.
