Mercedes-Benz ConceptFASCINATION

Mercedes-Benz will present its latest concept car at the 2008 Paris International Motor Show in October. The car is ConceptFASCINATION coupe which is sporty and elegant with a large luggage compartment.

The Mercedes-Benz ConceptFASCINATION previews the next generation E-Class and is powered by a 2.2-liter four-cylinder diesel engine which features BlueTEC and AdBlue technology producing 204 hp (150 kW).

For an exclusive look and feel, the ConceptFASCINATION is uses wood, aluminum and smoked glass and a luggage compartment which incorporates a refrigerated compartment and a humidor.

The car also features a long, frameless side window line which describes a continuous arc from front to rear, uninterrupted by a B-pillar. The side windows can also be lowered completely to provide an uninterrupted view of the stylish way in which fine materials have been used inside the vehicle.

The Mercedes-Benz ConceptFASCINATION still features dual headlamp face but instead of rounded look like the current CLK, the car features rhomboid headlamps which are set against a grey background reveal the fascinating technical details of the light units which feature the latest LED technology as well as C-shaped fibre-optic inserts which serve as discreet running lights.
