MTM RS6 R Audi Avant

Motoren Technik Mayer GmbH (MTM) from Wettstetten, Germany has released its tuning package for the Audi Avant sport wagon. The standard Audi Avant RS6 is powered by a 580 bhp 5.0-liter FSI twin turbo V10 engine but MTM manage to get 656 bhp at 6,180 rpm and 785 Nm (standard is 650 Nm) with only ECU modification only. MTM could also regulates the top speed increments electronically at 279, 290 or 310 km/h. The MTM RS6 R now able to accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds (standard is 4.6 seconds). All the above is priced at € 3999.
A more advance performance kit is in preparation where it could boost the performance up to 702 bhp. The increase of power is made possible with the installation of a stainless steel exhaust system with throttle control downstream from the catalytic converter and a sports air filter. This performance kit is priced at € 9950.
At the exterior, the MTM RS6 R Audi Avant features a discreet carbon-fiber front spoiler lip and a carbon-fiber rear diffuser. The RS6 R stands on 21-inch shiny or diamond cut MTM bimoto wheels in 10.5 x 21” wrapped in 285/30ZR21 tires.
The braking system has also been upgraded with a 6-piston braking system which features grooved 405×36 mm brake discs and monoblock brake callipers at the front.
MTM offers the full MTM RS6 R Audi Avant package which consists of a power-boosted engine, modified breathing, exhaust system, suspension struts and 21″ wheels at € 15,500.
